Privacy Policy

The short version. We collect the minimum needed to run PropGym: your email, your practice data, and payment details handled securely by Stripe (we never see your full card number). We don't sell your data. You can access or delete your data anytime by emailing propgymsupport@gmail.com.

01 Who we are

PropGym ("we," "us") operates the educational trading-practice platform at propgym.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it. For privacy questions or requests, contact propgymsupport@gmail.com.

02 What we collect

Information you provide

Account details: your email address and password (passwords are stored securely hashed by our authentication provider — we never see them in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile info from Google instead of a password.
Practice data: the trading scenarios you run, your simulated trades, progress, competency metrics, and your interactions with the AI coach. This is what makes the platform work and lets you pick up where you left off.
Communications: messages you send us by email.

Payment information

If you subscribe to Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and handles your card details directly — we never receive or store your full card number. We retain limited billing records (such as your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference) needed to manage your subscription.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our infrastructure providers may collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and operate reliably.

03 How we use your data

To provide and operate the Service — authenticate you, save your progress, and deliver AI coaching;
To process payments and manage your subscription;
To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and important service notices;
To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms;
To improve the Service and fix problems;
To comply with legal obligations.

We process your data on the legal bases of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (where applicable), and compliance with law.

04 AI coaching

The in-app coach is powered by Anthropic's AI models. When you use the coach, the relevant content of your session is sent to Anthropic to generate a response. We send only what's needed to produce coaching and do not send your payment details. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider to return the AI output to you.

05 Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run PropGym, under agreements that require them to protect it:

Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing;
Supabase — authentication and database storage of your account and practice data;
Anthropic — AI model that powers the coach;
Cloudflare — website delivery, security, and content distribution;
Railway — backend application hosting;
Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

06 International users & data transfers

PropGym is operated from the United States, and our providers may process data in the U.S. and other countries. If you access the Service from outside the U.S. (including the EU/UK), you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, our providers rely on recognized safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

07 Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and certain U.S. state laws), you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate data;
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
Export your data in a portable format;
Object to or restrict certain processing;
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these, email propgymsupport@gmail.com. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

08 Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing records) to comply with legal or tax obligations.

09 Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information.

10 Children's privacy

PropGym is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

11 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
